The Utah Symphony came to perform for our schools. After, the concert master, David Park held a master class for violin students. He had asked that 4 students ahead of time come prepared with a song they were working on and he would help them with it. Brynn got to be one of the students. What a fantastic opportunity!
This guy was very good natured, a great teacher, and an outstanding performer. He gave Brynn some great advice for her Bach Double concerto. He encouraged her and all the kids to use very big dramatic bows and to vibrato. She was able to perform it much better after taking his advice. It was wonderful to hear Mr. Park play the songs as they should be played! He is a master and I though it was pretty awesome that he went to school with Jack Black.
